Custom & Contract Organic Synthesis Services
Chemical Synthesis:
We provide synthesis of a variety of organic compounds for a range of customers. Recent projects delivered protein conjugates to a start-up biotech company and fluorescent HPLC derivatizing agents to an international analytical testing laboratory.
Custom Organic Synthesis:
On the custom side, the customer provides detailed protocols for the synthesis and purification of the target molecule. Project feasibility is determined, a quote is prepared, project confidentiality is addressed and work is begun.
Contract Organic Synthesis:
On the contract side, the target molecule is unknown to the literature and the customer requests that we propose a synthetic route. We conduct a literature search, frequently synthesize intermediates and/or model compounds (for just the cost of starting materials) and ultimately determine feasibility. A quote is then prepared, project confidentiality is addressed and work is begun.
Delivery:
Whether contract or custom, we will provide a quote and honor it. Sometimes, a novel target is found to be unstable to isolation or otherwise undeliverable. This is a reality of the sometimes unpredictable nature of synthetic organic chemistry, but a risk for which we will take responsibility. If our initial project assessment grades the project as feasible, we will only request payment upon delivery.
