Volumetric Standardettes® are designed to standardize volumetric titrating solutions. They are useful in initial makeup, adjustment and subsequent control standardization. The standards are accurate to better than one part in two thousand, require only minutes to perform the entire standardization, and ultimately result in better precision than with conventional methods of operation.
Volumetric Standardettes® contain the equivalent of 40.00ml of the solution to be titrated. The contents of the Standardette® are simply transferred to a beaker or flask, reagents or indicators are added according to instructions and the mixture is titrated. Normalities are calculated by simple ratio. Volumetric Standardettes® are available in boxes of 12 polyethylene ampules.
